Local Government
Effective change happens on the local level. Indivisible Gaston's Local Government Group follows county commissioners, the school board and town meetings to help people understand how their local government bodies work, what the issues are and how to make their voices heard. We have created a public Facebook page to share information.
Local Elections
Change occurs from the bottom up, not the top down. Getting active in local elections is the place to start the change we want. The Local Elections Group is mobilizing to protect fair elections, register voters, provide voter ID education, and provide information about candidates on the local ballot.
